    DEAR VALUED MEMBERS,

WE NEED YOU! We depend on membership dues to continue the fight for you and to sustain the work we do on behalf of all bargaining unit employees.

Management has attempted to intimidate employees by falsely claiming that if you speak to the Union, you can be terminated. LET US BE CLEAR — THIS IS A LIE. Employees have rights and protections under federal law and the Collective Bargaining Agreement. No employee should ever be threatened for seeking representation or exercising protected rights.

Leadership has distributed literature and messaging designed to discourage, demoralize, and weaken the very democracy union members fought so hard to build. We ask that you think twice — and then think a third time — before canceling your union dues.

Employees are being victimized. Workloads continue to increase. Duties are being unfairly assigned. Employees are carrying overwhelming responsibilities while receiving little support. This administration is hoping employees walk away from the Union because that was part of the plan all along.

    We hope you do not.

Because if you leave, they win.

Your membership dollars help keep us in the fight — including ongoing litigation, arbitrations, representation, bargaining, and protecting employee rights in the courts.

AFGE Local 507 has one of the most experienced union teams in the country and is represented by one of the strongest labor attorneys in the field, Ibidun Roberts, who has successfully won well over $400,000 for our members. Your Local leadership team has also secured more than $200,000 in back pay for employees right here at our facility.

When management attempted to strip away rights and ignore their own policies, we fought back — and we won.

Employees who were improperly terminated were brought back because the agency failed to follow its own procedures. We won those cases.

We have requested and obtained Administrative Investigation Boards (AIBs) involving management officials who created hostile work environments and engaged in predatory conduct toward employees.

This fight is not easy, and it is not cheap. We can only continue this battle with the financial support of our membership.

    Remember:
A victory for one employee becomes a victory for all employees.

We are back to bargaining. It may take time, but AFGE continues to function, continues to represent employees, and continues to take your voices everywhere decisions are being made.

We now have a dedicated Title 38 Vice President and nurses actively fighting for fair wages and equity for every nurse and Title 38 employee. We are preparing for roundtable discussions with congressional representatives to expose what truly happens behind these walls:

    • Employees caring for veterans without fair raises for years
    • Increasing patient loads with inadequate staffing
    • Bullying and intimidation in the workplace
    • Growing workloads without proper compensation
    • The continued mistreatment of employees despite their dedication to veterans

As AFGE representatives our jobs are on the line, we are targets because we are in the forefront. Yet despite that WE still fight for you!. Jeneen Towns VP Titlte 38, Cody Tribble VP Titlr 5 , Hybrids and WG, George Scott VP of Legislation and Political, Donna Pixley, EVP, Loren Bonner Secretary/Treasurer. Chief Steward Edwin Londono, stewards Title 38 stewards Claire Needham,Kisha Hodges and Dr. Erica Levinson stewards Patrick McCoon, Freddy Hidalgo, Theo Addison, Cedric Nickles, and 10 Retirees

The public deserves to know the truth.
