AFGE IS STILL HERE. STILL FIGHTING. STILL STANDING.
To all employees:
We know you’ve read the emails from Leadership and had meetings with your managers — that AFGE is gone, that we no longer represent you.
Do not believe it. That could not be further from the truth.
Let us be clear: AFGE is alive and well. We have not left you.
Yes, our collective bargaining agreement — our sword and shield — has been stripped away. Yes, our name is being dragged through the mud.
But we are still here. Every single day. Early mornings, late nights, weekends — we are in the union office working for YOU.
Management may say the union no longer exists, or that you’ll face retaliation if you support us.
Ask yourself: Why are they trying so hard to silence us?
Because they’re afraid too. They’re under pressure to spread fear.
If they don’t enforce the narrative, they risk their jobs. That’s the truth they won’t tell you.
They know that if we stand together, we are powerful.
They know the union is still the one thing standing between you and unchecked authority.
And they know the truth: AFGE hasn’t left.
We understand — it’s easy to feel defeated. Easy to throw your hands up and say, “Let them win.”
But we can’t. And we won’t.
Not after everything we’ve fought for. Not after every battle we’ve won.
Not when YOU are the reason we keep pushing forward.
We are not backing down.
We are not going away.
We are still here. Still fighting.
Let’s not forget:
No one in authority has stepped forward to commend your years of service to our nation’s heroes.
Instead, federal employees have been painted as lazy, overpaid, and expendable.
That’s not just wrong — it’s offensive.
You deserve better.
This fight isn’t just about a contract.
It’s about dignity.
It’s about your job. Your family. Your future. Your civil liberties.
It’s about the integrity of every federal employee who has ever served this nation with pride.
So when the dust settles, how do you want to be remembered?
As the one who turned a blind eye — who gave up when it got hard?
Or as the fighter — the trailblazer — the one who took the hits, stood tall, and rose from the ashes stronger, braver, and more determined?
We are not going anywhere.
We are still here.
We are still fighting.
And we come with heavy backup.
The union — your union — is the reason so many protections exist in the first place.
And we’re not done fighting for them.
If you’re afraid, know this: you are not alone.
We are afraid too — but we keep showing up.
For you.
And we always will.
Because this is bigger than any one of us.
This is a fight for justice, integrity, and respect.
AFGE is still here. And we are not backing down.
In solidarity,
Your AFGE Team
