  • A DAY OF ACTION
    Updated On: Apr 22, 2020

Image may contain: one or more people, possible text that says 'True American Heroes True American Heroes AFGE #VACOVIDCrisis Text VA COVID to 97779 for updates We are labeled "Essential Staff" because calling us sacrificial would be too honest.'

AFGE will have  A DAY OF ACTION TODAY Wednesday, April 22, 2020 from 1pm- 3pm.

AFGE Sincerely would like to say THANK YOU!! WE know it has not been easy providing patient care or supporting the VA with minimal PPE's,  denied leave, denied advance AL/SL, denied Safety/Weather Leave. But we know you do it because of your dedication and commitment to our Nations Hero's.

AFGE is fighting really hard to get you the PPE's and restore rights that you so freely deserve. AFGE will NOT be silenced or intimidated!! We are going to raise our voices and raise hell getting the word out every way we can until agencies address pressing needs of our members during this pandemic.

In appreciation to all our staff for their commitment to care for our veterans in the midst of the COVID 19 challenges. We Invite the community, families and friends to come out and show support our VA workers.  You must be on AL leave if you would like to participate.

Line up will begin at 12n at the union office 4152 W Blue Heron Blvd, Riviera Beach, Florida 33404 OR you may go to the VA entrance sidewalk on Military and Blue Heron (signs will be provided).

** Please remember we will maintain social distance**. *** Please don note wear VA issued uniforms and badges must be put away*****

Please do not forget to sign the petition for VA Employees Demand Safe Working Conditions and Protections for Veterans.

Please call the union office if you have any questions 561-729-0116 or 561-729-0133.
