AFGE would like to echo Management's recent email for lateral reassignment as a Title 38 Registered Nurse. You can request a lateral reassignment. There are minimum criteria which must be met to be considered for lateral reassignments.
An available vacancy must exist in the unit of interest.
Meet basic and/or specialized required qualifications for the postions.
Employees must be performing at an acceptable level of performance.
Employees must not have any admonishment and/or reprimand actions on file within the past 6 months or a suspension within the past 12 months.
Employees must not be on current leave restrictions.
Employees must be in their current position for at least 12 months.
